I’ve Had Rat on a Stick

I grew up in southern Minnesota, and after high school graduation went looking for adventure in the Army. My first permanent assignment was at the government’s language institute in Monterey, CA. I met Colleen there, and after dating for 4 months, we got married.

My only overseas assignment was 1 year in Korea where I worked as a Korean translator. It was great meeting the people, and eating the food. My favorite was Sam-Gyup-Sal (3 layers of flesh), and my least favorite was chicken on a stick (never saw a live chicken while stationed there.

After finishing my Army tour, Colleen and I returned to college where I completed my CIS and Communication degrees. I currently oversee project management and development of over 90 public-facing websites for a major CPG company based in the Twin Cities.
